Chip Jett had the bring in with and action folded to Phil Ivey, who completed with a showing. Even with two opponents showing and behind, Ivey's raise was enough to take down the pot.
Maybe his opponent's are hesitant to go up against Ivey in Razz; afterall, it was during the Razz portion of the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. event that Ivey defeated Bill Chen to claim his eighth gold bracelet. Nonetheless, Ivey is up to 30,300.
There are a lot of massage therapists earning their keep in the tournament today. Right now Dan Shak, Ted Forrest, Steve Wong, Robert Williamson III, David Chiu, Jimmy Fricke and Justin Smith are enjoying a rubdown.
However, one man has them all beat. As far as we can tell, Greg Mueller has been receiving a massage since the start of the tournament. At two bucks a minute, that sure adds up; however, we're sure the 2009 two-time bracelet winner doesn't mind forking over some cash in order to stay comfortable throughout Day 1.

Bloch led out for a 1,000 bet only to have Ferguson bump it to 2,000. Bloch called and the appeared on the river. Bloch checked and then snap-folded to Ferguson's bet.
Bloch dropped to 11,000 while Ferguson chipped up to 44,000.
Frank Kassela raised it up and found three callers, including Steve Sung on the button and the short-stacked Dan Heimiller in the big blind.
They went to a flop of and Heimiller checked to Kassela who fired a bet. All three opponents made the call.
The turn was the and again Kassela was the aggressor, but this time Sung raised it up. Heimiller called off his last chips, and Kassela also called as the third player stepped aside.
The river brought the and Kassela fired out a bet with Sung releasing. Kassela showed for quads and the nuts as Heimiller shrugged and departed the Amazon Room.
Brunson had the bring in and action folded to Fitoussi, who completed. Only Brunson called to fourth street. Fitoussi bet and again Brunson called. Both players checked fifth and sixth streets.
Fitoussi then bet seventh and it was up to Brunson. With four low cards showing, it seemed inevitable that he would call and reveal a low; however, Brunson picked up his board and tossed them to the dealer. Fitoussi flashed two diamonds for a flush that he had hit on seventh.
Fitoussi took down the pot and is up to around 39,000 while Brunson dropped to 23,700.
