Manish Down

Manish Patel
Manish Patel

No-Limit

All in before the flop with {A-Spades}{K-Spades}, Manish Patel was racing with Kyle Zartman's {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}. The community cards came {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{J-Spades}, and Patel joins the parade of players who have hit the rail over the last hour.

Zartman sits with 159,000 at present.

Going, Going, Gomes

Alex Gomes - Out
Alex Gomes - Out

Team PokerStars Pro Alex Gomes has just disappeared from the field thanks to a sneaky pot that we never saw unfold. Gomes had a rocky up-and-down day, and now he's been sent to the exit with a small cash to show for his efforts.

Randy Lew is now the last man representing PokerStars in this event, and the member of Team Online is sitting right around average with 87,000 chips stacked in front of him.

Romanello Shoots Down Two Birds

Roberto Romanello
Roberto Romanello

No-Limit

Tyron Krost moved all in for 13,900 before the flop, and Roberto Romanello called from the small blind. Just to spice it up, big blind Andreas Hoivold called all in for his last 11,000 chips, and there were two players at risk as the cards were turned face-up:

Krost: {A-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}
Romanello: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}
Hoivold: {3-Spades} {9-Spades}

There was nothing changed by the board of {3-Clubs} {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}, and Romanello's pair holds up to notch the double KO. He's up to 75,000, and Krost and Hoivold are both down to zero.

Finne Feeling Fine

Limit

With the board showing {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Kyle Ray bet, Timothy Finne raised, Ray reraised again with his last chips, and Finne called.

Ray tabled {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for two pair, while Finne had {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for aces, a flush draw, and outs to a straight. And the river brought the latter -- the {5-Clubs} -- giving Finne a wheel and sending Ray out the door.

Finne is up near the leaders with 187,000 now.

Tran Out

Cathleen Tran
Cathleen Tran

Limit

Cathleen Tran and Dwyte Pilgrim tangled in a raising war that left Tran all in with {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}. She was racing for double or nothing against her opponent's {5-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. And it would be "nothing" for her.

The board ran {10-Spades} {A-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {J-Diamonds} to take the rest of her chips, sending her to the exit and pushing Pilgrim back up a bit to 250,000.

Kochan Misses Draw, Dohmen Collects

Limit

Following a flop of {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Daniel Kochan bet, and Cyriel Dohmen called.

The turn was the {Q-Spades}, and Kochan bet again (8,000 on this round). Dohmen raised, Kochan three-bet, Dohmen four-bet, and Kochan reraised one last time with his last 2,000, which Dohmen of course called.

Kochan showed {A-Diamonds}{J-} for a double-gutter, while Dohmen had already made his straight with {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The river bricked for Kochan, and he's out.

Dohmen now has 80,000.

Behind, Ahead, Out

Limit

Jim "Mr_BigQueso" Collopy raised to start the action, and Eelke Arjaans reraised all in for 7,500 total. Queso called, and the cards were on their backs to show Arjaans what a bad spot he'd picked:

Collopy: {9-Spades} {9-Diamonds}
Arjaans: {5-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}

Things got better in a hurry for Arjaans, though, as the flop came {4-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {A-Diamonds}. The {4-Clubs} on the turn improved him to a full house, and he was one card from a double. Just as quickly as his lead had come, though, it left, and Collopy pulled his {9-Hearts} on fifth street to steal the pot out from under Arjaans.

He's out, and Collopy is back up to 175,000 now.

Matros Moves On

Matt Matros
Matt Matros

No-Limit

A short-stacked Matt Matros put his last 12,000 in from under the gun and got one caller in Michael Santoro. Matros flipped over {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Santoro {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

The community cards were delivered -- {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} -- and the Event No. 12 ($1,500 No-Limit Hold'em) winner is out. Santoro now has 60,000.
