Magriel Quacked

With the board reading {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Paul Magriel bet about 200,000 into a raised pot. Johan Jakobsson moved all in and Magriel quickly called.

Showdown
Magriel: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Jakobsson: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds} on the turn was a blank, but the {7-Clubs} on the river completed Jakobsson's straight and sent Magriel to the wall.

Brickis Bricks Out

Josh Brikis
Josh Brikis

All in preflop.

Joshua Brikis: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Thiago Nishijima: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

"Hold up, hold up, please," begged Nishijima.

Flop: {2-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Nishikima requested specific cards, but although his demands fells on stony ground, his pocket tens still held as the turn and river came the {2-Diamonds} and {J-Hearts}

Brickis hits the Bricks in 20th.

Go West

Tim West
Tim West

Tim... ber! Tim West's final branch has dropped as he feels the wrath of British hope Sam Trickett. We're not sure exactly when the chips went in, but West had {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} versus {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades} with a {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{X} board hitting the felt.

Coronel Eliminated

Aristotle Coronel eliminated
Aristotle Coronel eliminated

Aristotle Coronel opened from early position and Raymond Coburn re-raised to 125,000 more with the button. Coronel four-bet shoved and Coburn snapped it off tabling {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

Coronel stood from his seat and paused for a moment before opening {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

There were rumblings from both the table and the rail about whether or not it was a slowroll as the flop fell {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. The rail then erupted when the {k-Diamonds} turned giving Coburn the lead and afte the {4-Hearts} bricked off on the river, Coronel was eliminated.

"Maybe you should turn your hand over faster next time," someone chimed in.

Regardless of whether or not it was a slowroll, Coronel is out and Coburn is well above a million chips.

New Chip Leader... Again

Sam Trickett's stack has been dissected in half, the Brit running {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} into the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} of Johan Jakobsson. A {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} board later and Trickett was down to 725,000, whilst Jakobsson has now adopted the mantle of chip leader with 1,350,000. So much is happening, however, that this stat is likely to remain.
