Liebert Doubles

On a flop of {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, Kathy Liebert moved all in for her last 500. Her sole opponent made the call because he said it'd make for a good story.

Liebert: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

"I'm not the most famous woman in poker, so it wouldn't make that great a story," Liebert explained. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and the river the {5-Spades}. Liebert survived and doubled to 2,500.

Jaka-Jaka

On a board of {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}, a player in early position bet 700 and Faraz Jaka called from the hijack. The button then raised all in for 1,525 total and the early position bettor folded. Jaka splashed the extra 825 into the pot to make the call.

Button: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Jaka: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

Jaka was behind but with two overs. The {7-Clubs} on the turn gave the button a full boat and left Jaka drawing dead. "I can't believe you didn't get there," the button exclaimed, "I thought I was drawing dead."

Jaka is down to 6,800.

You're Drawing Dead?!

When we arrived at the table the flop was {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Dan Heimiller checked the action back to Faraz Jaka. With almost 2,500 chips in the pot, Jaka fired a 1,000-chip bet.

Heimiller tanked and moved all in for an additional 1,275 chips. Jaka called.

Showdown
Jaka: {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Heimiller: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

"You're drawing dead!", said Jaka laughing.

The turn card was a {9-Spades} and the river brought a {8-Diamonds}. Dan Heimiller is out of the tournament and Jaka is now up to 6,200 chips.

New Faces

Between late registrants and table breaks, we've discovered some new faces in the field. Among them are Michael Binger, Lyle Berman, Men Nguyen, David Levi, Chino Rheem and Allyn Jaffrey Shulman.

Also, Jason Mercier has been moved to Table 9, the same table as JC Tran. That could make for some interesting table dynamics.

Sebok Running Wild

A player in middle position raised to 250 and Joe Sebok reraised to 850 from the button. When action got back around to the middle position player, he moved all in for around 3,000. Sebok called and they turned over their cards:

Sebok: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Middle Position: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Sebok has been running good in the early stages of this tournament and that didn't change as the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, giving him middle set. The {5-Spades} on the turn and {9-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing and Sebok eliminated his opponent while increasing his stack to 11,000.
