Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis celebrated his 22nd birthday just a few days ago with a big party that not too many attendees have probably recovered from.
However Karamalikis must have mustered up some energy either through a vegemite sandwich or some weet-bix as he has recovered to take a seat in his fourth WSOP event of the series.
Joining the Australian in the field are fellow 'Aussies' Daniel Neilson, Michael Spilkin, Jim Sachinidis, Mel Judah and Aaron Benton and Warwick Mirzikinian with many likely to be hiding somewhere as the majority slowly are arriving in town.
"Haha I just got it in with a set of Kings against Jacks and he rivered a straight!" stated a rather happy ex-player to his friend still in the tournament.
I guess some people find the loss of $1,500 a lot funny than others!
Shannon Shorr is off to a quick start, having already doubled up. We didn't witness the hand but he reported on his Twitter:
"Quick double flopped quad 8s against fours full on 884." Shorr is sitting with around 9,500.
The incredibly large field can only be justified with a few photos!
Our trusty photographer - who has the resemblance of a young David Hasselhoff - will be back soon to snap the rest of our notables.

The Doyle Brunson's of the poker world have slowly been pushed out as 21-year old know-it-all whiz kids of the virtual felt are slowly starting to take over.
Unfortunately some of them lack social skills, and consequently here is a conversation that we unfortunately had to witness.
"I already have you classed as an animal" stated the young dude.
"Huh? What do you mean?" replied the chilled out homie.
"You know. I have you classed in my mind already."
"So then what am I?" asked the chilled out guy.
"I can't tell you that! But I would have you as yellow on PS [PokerStars]!" replied the young dude.
"So what is your avatar on FTP [Full Tilt Poker]?" asked the young dude trying to get some additional information.
"Dude . . . I can't remember!" answered the chilled out homie.
"I'm the Panda . . . I wish there was a Cow, because then I would be that!" added the young dude.
"Yeah that doesn't surprise me!" the chilled out dude added.
Dan O'Brien opened to 125 and was called by David Tuthill from the hi-jack.
With the action on a player in the small blind, he made it 425 to go with both O'Brien and Tuthill making the call.
The flop fell down and after the small blind checked, O'Brien fired out 500 with Tuthill calling as the small blind folded.
The landed on the turn and O'Brien led out for 1,025 only to have Tuthill move all in as O'Brien instantly called.
O'Brien:
Tuthill:
The river landed the to see Tuthill eliminated in an ugly set-over-set hand as O'Brien climbs to 10,500 in chips.
Dan Kelly, Michael Martin, Adam Levy, Layne Flack, Tony Dunst and Nam Le have been spotted in the field.
The player on the button raised to 150 and Liv Boeree made the call from the big blind. The flop came and Boeree checked. The button put out a bet of 125 and received a call.
Both players checked the on the turn and then Boeree bet out 400 when the hit the river. The button simply smiled as he mucked his cards, giving Boeree the small pot. She is still sitting pretty right around the starting stack.
