2010 World Series of Poker
David "Bakes" Baker has failed to rise - he has instead been resigned to the tournament trash.
Kevin Schaffel raised to 3,000 from middle position, and to his direct left, James Kasputis made the call. The small blind joined them to see the

flop. The small blind checked, and Schaffel bet 7,000. It only took Kasputis a second to slide out an entire stack of orange chips to make it 20,000 to go. The small blind folded, and Schaffel sat in the tank for a minute or two before giving up on his hand. He's down a bit to 145,000. With this hand, Kasputis is up to 58,000.
Kevin Boudreau is up to 200,000 - that looks to be the chip lead at the moment - after knocking out both Nikolay Evdakov and Ted Forrest in the same hand.
We arrived just in time to see the unfortunate Dan Shak get the last of his stack in on the turn of a

board.
"Oh my God," he lamented as he saw his opponent Mark Eddleman's hand.
Shak:

(X) for trip jacks
Eddleman:

for a full house
River:
From 100,000 to zero in just over an hour. This can be a cruel game.
Most of Christian Harder's chips went in pre, his last few thousand making their way into the middle on the flop.
Harder:

Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott:

Board:

The aces held up - nay, improved - and Harder doubled up to 20,000. Devilfish, fresh off his third place finish in the PLO8, was down to 6,000.
Justin Smith got all of his chips in with

on a

flop. He had to dodge [Removed:106]'s

. The
turn and
river didn't complete Leclerc's straight draw, and Boosted J doubled to 65,000. Leclerc was left with 20,000.
We arrived just in time to see "Miami" John Cernuto raking in a big pot and Allen Bari standing up to leave with a slightly unwell expression on his face. Whatever Bari had will remain forever lost in the mists of time, but Cernuto was holding
(X)(XX) for a full house on a

board.
Cernuto moved up to 40,000 or so.
