Team Effort

We have a fair few Team PokerStars Pros left in the field right now.

The best performance of the day so far has been logged by Jose Nacho Barbero - from an already very respectable 61,900 at the start of the day, he's improved to 165,000. Impressive.

Also still in the running are Lex Veldhuis, Rino Mathis and Jorge Arias.

Nguyen Flops a Flock

Men Nguyen saw a raised flop three-ways. It fell {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. The big blind checked, and Nguyen checked behind. The last player to act bet 11,000, and after their third opponent folded, Nguyen stuck out a big stack of chips and matched the height of the bet. The {j-Clubs} fell on the turn, and Nguyen checked again. His opponent checked behind, and on to the {j-Hearts} river. Nguyen bet 20,000. "Call," the other player announced instantly. Nguyen smiled and tabled {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for flopped quads. His opponent showed the {j-Spades}, meaning that not only had Nguyen flopped four ducks, he'd caught runner-runner jacks to get paid off.

"Well, you owe me now," said the dealer, whom it sounded like Nguyen had been berating prior to the hand. Realizing what he'd just said and to whom, the dealer instantly picked up his hands and showed the cameras they were empty, as were his sleeves.

Nguyen is up to 115,000.

Devilfish Straight

Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott was all in on the flop. By the river, he had made a straight to double up.

Ulliott: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}
Yevgeniy Timoshenko: {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Board: {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Timoshenko dropped to 30,000. Devilfish doubled to 22,000 - not bad considering he was down to 6,000 around half an hour ago.
