Trickett Takes One Off Kelly

Dan Kelly raised to 37,000 on the button and Sam Trickett called from the big blind.

The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Trickett checked. Kelly bet 47,000 and Trickett raised, making it 120,000 to go. Kelly called and the {5-Diamonds} hit the turn. Both opted to check, delivering the {3-Clubs} river card. Both checked again and Trickett showed {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Kelly couldn't beat it and the pot was shipped to Trickett.

Trickett: Up to about 880,000
Kelly: Down to about 480,000

Kenney Takes One Off Kassela

Bryn Kenney raised to 38,000 and then Frank Kassela reraised to 100,00. Kenney called and the flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The turn brought the {10-Spades} and both checked again.

The river completed the board with the {3-Hearts}. Kassela check-called a bet of 70,000 from Kenney. Kenney held the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens and Kassela just ace high with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}.

"I can't believe you called me with that," said Kassela after the hand.

"Well, you made it a little small," responded Kenney.

Kenney's up to two million and Kassela down to one million.

Shortly after the hand, the tournament staff made Kenney unstack his chips, which were stacks six stacks of twenty each high in a pyramid formation. The staff feared that the chips weren't stable and might fall into the pot, causing a big issue if it were to happen.

Jason Somerville Doubles Through Dan Kelly

Dan Kelly raised to 38,000 from the cutoff and Jason Somerville moved all in for 191,000 on the button. The blinds folded and action was back on Kelly. He made the call after about 30 seconds and revealed {J-Spades}{9-Spades}. Somerville was ahead with {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, no help to Kelly. The {4-Clubs} hit the turn and provided some hope for a straight on the board, but the river was the {4-Spades} and Somerville safely doubled to 419,000. Kelly took a hit down to about 630,000.
