Another Double for Dominykas Karmazinas

Dominykas Karmazinas was all in just a few moments ago and doubled up. Well, he was right back in the mix of things shortly after with another double.

Karmazinas raised to 21,000 from the button and Carlos Mortensen called from the big blind. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Mortensen checked. Karmazinas fired 28,000 and Mortensen made it 200,000. Karmazinas went all in for 208,000 and Karmazinas called the extra little bit.

Karmazinas held the {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Mortensen the {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a flush draw.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and the river the {10-Clubs}, missing Mortensen and doubling up Karmazinas again within minutes of one another. Karmazinas now has 420,000 chips. Mortensen dropped to 310,000.

Kenney Spikes Gutshot to Bust Jaffee

From under the gun, Bryn Kenney rised to 20,000. Jared Jaffee was in the next seat and reraised to 50,000. Kenney made the call.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} and the fireworks began. Kenney checked and Jaffee fired 72,000. Kenney raised to 200,000 which was enough to put Jaffee all in. He quickly made the call and tabled the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Kenney held the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and then the river was the {J-Spades}, completing a gutshot for Kenney. Jaffee stared at the board, looking like he was just robbed of everything he owned. Kenney simply collected the chips.

Jaffee got up and left the tournament and Greg Mueller, who was standing at the table chatting with Shawn Buchanan, said, "He looks like he's going to kill someone in the hallway. He took that way too well right now that he looks like he's going to have to kill someone out there."

"Oops," said Kenney, who's now up to 850,000 in chips.

Abe Mosseri called a raise from Frank Kassela preflop. Kassela made it 21,000 from middle position and Mosseri was in the big blind. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and both players checked.

Lisa Hamilton Eliminated, Heather Sue Mercer Doubles Up

We are down to three women among our 35 remaining players following the elimination of Lisa Hamilton.

Hamilton open-shoved from early position and Heather Sue Mercer called all-in for 121,000. Hamilton's {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} was dominated by Mercer's {A-Spades}{J-Spades} and she did not find any help on the {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board. Mercer doubled up to 262,000 while Hamilton was left with only 13,000.

Her chips went in on the next hand and she went heads-up with Jared Jaffee after he put in an isolation raise. Hamilton's {K-Spades}{8-Spades} did not improve against Jaffee's {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and she made her exit.

Jason Somerville from Day 1
Jason Somerville from Day 1

Action folded to Sam Trickett in middle position. He raised to 20,000. Jason Somerville flatted from the small blind and the two saw a flop of {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. On the flop, Somerville checked before Trickett fired a continuation bet of 30,000. After a minute in the tank, Somerville shipped it all in for 283,000 total. Trickett tanked for a little bit and wound up making the call with the {Q-Spades}{8-Spades} for two overs to the board and a flush draw. His eight wasn't good though for an over as Somerville held the {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and the river the {10-Diamonds}. Trickett missed all his outs and send over the amount he owed to Somerville, who now has about 620,000 in chips. Trickett dropped to 305,000.
