Stephen Ladowsky Eliminated in 24th Place and Daniel Harmetz Eliminated in 23rd Place ($24,815)

Daniel Harmetz - 23rd Place
Daniel Harmetz - 23rd Place

It seems like the sickness meter has been turned up as some big pots are starting to develop and players are starting to hit the rail.

Miguel Proulx is the latest benefactor of the carnage as he eliminated two players in the one hand to storm to our chip lead.

All the action went down on a flop of {2-Spades}{j-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Stephen Ladowsky led out with a pot-sized bet of 75,000 before Daniel Harmetz re-potted. Miguel Proulx then moved all in over the top with both Ladowsky and Harmetz making the call!

Proulx: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Spades} - aces with straight and flush draws
Harmetz: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} - top pair, straight wrap and inferior flush draw
Ladowsky: {J-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts} - pair and straight wrap

The {A-Clubs} on the turn was a huge card as it gave the short stacks a straight but Proulx made a set, which then improved to a full house on the {J-Hearts} river.

Ladowsky is out in 24th, Harmetz gets 23rd while Proulx is up to 1.45 million in chips.

Dwan Surges to Over 1.1 Million; Jordan Smith Eliminated in 25th Place ($24,815)

Jordan Smith - 25th Place
Jordan Smith - 25th Place

David Ulliott raised to 30,000 and was called by Blair Rodman in middle position. Tom Dwan called from the cutoff, Ben Blackmore called from the small blind, and Jordan Smith made it 150,000 more to play from the big blind.

Ulliott tanked for a good two minutes before giving it up. Rodman raised the pot and Dwan instantly called all in for about 390,000! Blackmore folded, Smith called all in for a little bit more, and the hands were revealed.

Smith: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Rodman: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Dwan: {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The flop was great for Dwan, falling {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} to put him way out in the lead. The turn was the {K-Clubs} and Ulliott slammed his hands on the table, saying he folded two kings. The river was the {9-Diamonds}, giving Dwan eights full of nines and the monster pot.

Dwan: Up to about 1,180,000
Rodman: Down to about 160,000
Smith: Outta here

George Abdallah Eliminated in 26th Place ($24,815)

George Abdallah - 26th Place
George Abdallah - 26th Place

With the flop showing {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, George Abdallah check-called a 43,000-chip bet from Leandro Pimentel before Abdallah moved all in for his last 39,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Pimentel took a few seconds before making the call.

Abdallah: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Pimentel: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Flush over flush as the river bricked the {Q-Hearts}. Abdallah gave a few choice words to Pimentel about his apparent slowroll with the second nuts before exiting the tournament floor in 26th place for $24,815 in winnings. Pimentel is up to 245,000.

Dwan Sliding

Blair Rodman raised to 30,000 on the button and Tom Dwan made the call from the big blind.

The flop came down {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Dwan led out 46,000. Rodman made the call and the {A-Spades} hit the turn. Both players checked, leading to the {10-Spades} landing on the river. Dwan checked and Rodman bet 80,000. Dwan gave it up, dropping to about 300,000.

Rodman is up to 620,000.

Hellmuth Makes Hero Fold

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Jason Mercier raised to 24,000 in middle position with Leandro Pimentel and Phil Hellmuth making the call to see a flop of {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

Action on the flop was checked around and the {9-Hearts} hit the turn. Hellmuth checked to Mercier who fired 57,000. Pimentel folded as Hellmuth made the call.

The river brought the {7-Diamonds} and Hellmuth checked to Mercier who fired 158,000. This is when the theatrics started.

"This is some kind of joke!" exclaimed Hellmuth. "This is the kid that's gonna give me all of his chips!" he continued as he folded {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} face up.

Mercier didn't show as he moves up to 550,000 with Hellmuth back to 310,000.

Ulliott Doubles Through Dwan

David Ulliott opened the pot with a raise from early position and Tom Dwan popped it to 75,000 from the cutoff. Action folded to Ulliott and he called.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Ulliott checked. Dwan bet enough to cover Ulliott's stack and after a few seconds, Ulliott called all in.

Dwan: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}
Ulliott: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Dwan was in bad shape and found no help from the {J-Clubs} turn or {Q-Hearts} river. He is down to about 420,000 while Ulliott is up to around 410,000.

Michael Binger Eliminated in 27th Place ($24,815)

Michael Binger - 27th Place
Michael Binger - 27th Place

Catching the action on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, Michael Binger fired 40,000 and Ludovic Lacay made the call to see the {K-Spades} hit the turn. Binger checked and Lacay fired 150,000. Binger moved all in for slightly more with Lacay making the call.

Binger: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Lacay: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Spades}

Binger had turned a set of kings to go with his flush draw but Lacay had made a straight which held on the {9-Spades} river. Binger is busto as Lacay is now our chip leader with around 900,000 chips.
