Ivey Leads Heads Up Battle

After dispatching of Jonathan Aguiar, Phil Ivey was at it again eliminating another opponent to go into heads up contention with Joseph Elpayaa.

On a {3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} board, Ivey check-called 5,000 from his opponent to see the {10-Hearts} land on the river. Ivey moved all in and his opponent tanked for over five minutes before making the call.

Finally Ivey's opponent made the call only to muck at the sight of Ivey's {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

With that second near back-to-back elimination, Ivey moves to 85,000 to lead Elpayaa and his 65,000-chip stack.
