McGoin' to Day 2

"I know you're twenty times the player I am," Joseph McGowan told Lee Markholt moments before the last hand between the two.

On said hand they got it all-in preflop after a series of raises and the hands were shown down:

McGowan: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Markholt: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

McGowan stood up and pleaded, "Come on let the best hand win one time."

The {7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} improved the best hand, and the {10-Clubs} on the hand sealed the deal. The {4-Spades} on the river was meaningless, and after a quick chip verification by the dealer Makrholt hit the rail.

McGowan may not be the player Markholt is, but he's still alive and at least $16,607 richer.
