That Was Quick

James Akenhead
James Akenhead

Less than twenty minutes into Day 2 we have our first casualty; James Akenhead.

We missed the hand, but when we went to the table Chris Bell gave us the scoop.

According to Bell, he opened on the button and Akenhead three-bet from the blinds. Bell called, and the two took a flop of {A-}{6-}{4-}. Akenhead led out and Bell called.

The turn was another {6-} and when checked to Bell bet 50,000. Akenhead called.

The river brought a {10-}, and Akenhead checked again. Bell moved all-in and Akenhead called.

Bell tabled {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Akenhead mucked before exiting the Amazon Room.
