You may be thinking to yourself: "Why would they do this?"
Well, if you check the Payouts tab above, you will see that if you make the final table you are guaranteed $71,998, but if you get knocked out today you only earn $16,607.
So $15,000 of insurance for a $55,381 differential is actually quite sensible.
