Seif Still Chipping Up

Jordan Rich opened to 2,000 and Mark Seif made the call along with both the blinds.

On the {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop the small blind moved all in for around 13,000 and once the big blind and Rich passed, Seif made the call.

Seif: {J-Spades}{7-Spades}
Opponent: {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

With Seif gambling on a flush draw, he was glad to see the {A-Spades} land on the turn, followed by the the {5-Spades} on the river, to see him eliminate his opponent while climbing to 42,000 in chips.

Brenes Busts

Humberto Brenes moved his last 5,500 into the pot and was called by the big blind.

Brenes: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to put Brenes on the rail after a very quiet and shark-free day.

Put Those Chips in the Seif

Seat 6 raised to 2,000 and Mark Seif made the call from the big blind. Seif checked the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop, inspiring his opponent to move all in for 4,600.

Seif called with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and was ahead of Seat 6's {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing, and the {8-Diamonds} on the river sent Seif the pot, bringing his stack up to 42,000.

Deeb Improves from a Set to a Flush . . . and Still Loses.

Shaun Deeb raised to 1,600 and was called by the big blind, who checked when the flop came {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Deeb bet 1,600 and was raised to 3,600 by the big blind.

Deeb made the call and the turn came {10-Hearts}. The big blind shoved all in and Deeb called immediately, showing {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Unfortunately for him, he was behind his opponent's flopped straight with {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

The river was the {K-Hearts}, giving both a flush; however, Deeb's was lower and he dropped down to 20,000 in chips.

Filippi Finds King

Amnon Filippi
Amnon Filippi

Amnon Filippi opened to 2,200 from under the gun only to have the opponent on his direct left move all in for roughly 10,000. Filippi made the call once it folded round to him to put his opponent at risk.

Filippi: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Opponent: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Spades} flop put Filippi out in the lead, and after the turn and river blanked with the {3-Spades} and {7-Spades}, Filippi sent his opponent to the rail while climbing to 25,000 in chips.

Batista Busto

Chad Batista found himself all in preflop holding a dominated {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} against an opponent's {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}.

The flop of {J-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} put Batista in the lead, but when the {10-Clubs} landed on the turn, he would need an Ace, Queen or Jack to stay alive.

Unfortunately for 'lilholdem954' he saw the {5-Hearts} peel on the river to send him to the rail.
