Opponent Says Gracz-ie!

Michael Gracz raised in middle position only to have the big blind move all in for 6,800 total. Gracz made the call and turned over {J-Spades}{Q-Spades}. His opponent revealed {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}.

The flop made things interesting when it came {Q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The {6-Clubs} on the turn left Gracz looking for a jack or queen. The river was paint, but it was the {K-Clubs}. Gracz's opponent doubled to 8,300 while Gracz dropped to 15,000.

Deeb Stacking Chips

With a limp and a shove for 8,000, Shaun Deeb also pushed all in for roughly 32,000 next to speak as the remaining active players folded.

Deeb: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Opponent: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades} to see Deeb eliminate his opponent and climb to over 41,000 in chips.

Action (Kind Of) Slow

The action is fairly slow at the moment in Event 8 . . . well for the notables and above average stack players anyway.

Tables are getting broken left, right and center but it is mainly due to unknown short stacks falling short and hitting the rail.

"I don't normally make the dinner break" uttered one player as he exchanged friendly banter with his table.

It is always a great achievement to make the dinner break or even the first break, and it is no doubt that this was the thoughts on many players minds as they tightened up before dinner so they could say, "I've made a dinner break of a WSOP event."

Either way the PokerNews Live Reporting Team is scouring the floor looking for some blog-worthy hands to bring to you at home!

The Rich Gets Richer

With a board reading {5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{K-Spades} and about 11,000 in the pot, a player in Seat 9 went all in for 5,125. Jordan Rich, who was the only other player in the pot, went into the tank for over a minute.

Rich ultimatley made the call and his opponent was caught bluffing with {3-Spades}{4-Spades}. What is even more amazing is that Rich turned over {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for only a jack high! His read was right and his chip stack has surpassed 50,000 as a result.

Nines For Ramdin

Facing an under the gun all in for 6,575, Victor Ramdin made the call from the small blind.

Ramdin: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{K-Spades} to see Ramdin eliminate his opponent and climb to a little over 22,000 in chips.
