AK No Good?

Anthony Gargiulo raised from middle position, and Habib Khanis shoved for 35,000. Garguilo called with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and was less than excited to see that Khanis had {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. The board came {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, and Khanis doubled to 72,000 while Gargiulo slipped to 30,000.

Binger Applies Pressure

Nick Binger is sitting on a stack of about 160,000 and has been putting it to good use. In a recent pot, action had folded to the player in the small blind, who decided to limp.

Binger, who was in the small blind, wasn't going to let him in so cheap and raised an additional 4,500. The small blind folded to the pressure and Binger continues to roll.

Robert Harcarik Eliminated

A big hand occurred over at Jean-Robert Bellande's table, although it didn't involve him.

The player is Seat 6 raised to 12,000 and was reraised by Robert Harcarik to 37,000. Seat 6 announced that he was all in and immediately turned over the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Harcarik hadn't made the call yet and when the floor was summoned, Seat 6 was issued a warning.

Harcarik decided to make the call for his entire stack, 79,300 total, and was racing for his tournament life.

The flop helped Seat 6 when it came {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. The turn was the {4-Spades} and the river the {3-Diamonds}. Harcarik was clearly disappointed with the outcome and made his exit from the tournament.

Ward Sent to his Reward

Joseph Parrish raised to 4,200 under the gun, and Joe Ward moved all in for about 25,000. Parrish called with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} to flip with Ward's {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop was bad for Ward. The turn came the {3-Diamonds} and the river the {a-Clubs}, giving Parrish a full house and shipping Ward to the payout desk. Parrish is up to 75,000.

Hruby Cracked, Team PokerStars Pros Down to Two

Team PokerStars Pro member Martin Hruby started the day with a healthy 57k, and for a moment, it looked like he was about to get quite a bit more. He had the best of it in a three-way all in. The Czech pro's {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} was up against Simon Lam's {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a 56k main pot and big-stack Jesse Yaginuma's {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for the main pot and a 16k side pot. The {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop made Lam's hand look like the one to sweat. The {7-Clubs} on the turn didn't change much. Then the {10-Clubs} on the river dealt a death blow to Hruby. After eliminating both Hruby and Lam, Yaginuma is up to 112,000.

Now that Hruby is gone, Victor Ramdin and Pat Pezzin are left to carry Team PokerStars Pro. We'll keep our eyes on them for you.
