Bulletproof Monk

Andy Black opened for 725 from early position, the button three-bet to 2,600, Black shoved for 4,725 and the button called.

Black turned over pocket kings while the button showed pocket tens. Black's hand held up on the {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades} board and he doubled his stack to 9,800.

Naujoks Making Sets

Action folded around to the player on the button and he raised to 1,200. Sandra Naujoks made the call out of the big blind and the two players took a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Naujoks checked and her opponent fired a continuation bet worth 2,100. Naujoks made the call.

After the turn came the {J-Clubs}, Naujoks passed the action to her opponent once more. Her opponent checked behind, not opting to put any more chips into the pot at this time.

The river completed the board with the {Q-Clubs} and Naujoks led for 2,000. Her opponent labored over his decision for some time before making the call. Naujoks tabled the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a set of sixes and her opponent mucked. She's now back up to 43,200.

Sklansky x 2

David Sklansky got it all in on the button against the small blind, and when they flipped 'em, Sklanksy had the goods.

Sklansky: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and Sklansky doubled to 28,000 Sklansky dollars, and in chips too.

Early One for Lawson

Facing a limp from the cutoff and a raise to 1,300 from the button, Ted Lawson bumped it to 3,450 from the small blind.

The limper folded, and after a minute or two of deliberation, Lawson's opponent from the button made the call.

The flop fell down {Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Lawson casually tossed in a 5,000-denomination chip while announcing a bet of 4,000.

His opponent sat there agonising over a decision before eventually folding to see Lawson scoop the pot and move to over 28,000 in chips.

Rosen Runs Nut Flush Into Quads

On the board of {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Jamie Rosen fired a bet of 5,000. His opponent moved all in for 9,675 total and Rosen made the call.

Rosen held the nut flush with the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, but his opponent had even better. No, it wasn't a full house, it was quads. His opponent tabled the {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for the other two ducks and won the pot, knocking Rosen back to 40,000 in chips.

Haxton Picks Up Where He Left Off

Before dinner, Isaac Haxton lost a huge chunk of his stack with a set against a straight. Back from dinner, it was his trips against a full house. Haxton called a shorter stack's all in for about 6,000 on the turn of a {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board. Haxton's {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} needed to improve against his opponent's {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} but once again the river brickd out {8-Spades}. With that loss Haxton is down to about 5,500 chips.

Dinner Break

Another level is in the books and for all those left in the 2010 WSOP Main Event, you've officially made it to the dinner break. Over the last level, even more players hit the rail including Al Barbieri, Jameson Painter and Jimmy Fricke.

Shooting to the top of the leaderboard were Kevin McGowan and Tyler Smith. Smith got his money in with a flush draw against a pair and a lower flush draw and also against top set. He wound up backing into a straight for a massive pot to move over 150,000 in chips. McGowan is right up there with him.

In other action during this level, Johan "busto_soon" van Til couldn't push Thomas Bichon off a flush draw and wound up losing a pretty big pot. You can read about that action here.

The cards will be back in the air in 90 minutes time. Eat well and we'll see you right back here for the next level of the Main Event.

Grinder Takes One To Dinner

On the final hand before the break we caught Michael Mizrachi and [Removed:415] tangle as their table mates all headed off to dinner.

Doria check-called 3,625 on the turn and then 7,250 on the river, on a board of {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, only for Mizrachi to table {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. Doria sighed and flashed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Doria is at 19,500 with Mizrachi happy to head off to dinner with 81,000 chips.
