Hand #164: Joseph Cheong

Filippo Candio has the button in Seat 8.

John Racener is the second player to act this hand. He makes it 2.3 million to go after Michael Mizrachi folds. Candio (who has disappeared recently) folds his button, allowing Joseph Cheong to three-bet to 5.5 million. Jonathan Duhamel folds the big blind and, after about a minute, Racener follows suit.

Hand #165: Filippo Candio

Joseph Cheong has the button in Seat 2.

John Racener raises to 2.5 million from under the gun. Filippo Candio reraises all in from the next seat for 22.975 million. Action then folds back around to Racener and he begins his thought process. Racener folds his hand and Candio wins the pot after not having been involved for quite some time.

Hand #166: Jonathan Duhamel

Jonathan Duhamel
Jonathan Duhamel

Jonathan Duhamel has the button in Seat 4.

He opens to 2.2 million when the table folds to him, and Michael Mizrachi calls from the small blind. John Racener does so as well from the big, and we've got three-way action.

The flop rolls out {10-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}, and the blinds check to the raiser. Duhamel continues out with 3.675 million chips, Mizrachi calls, and Racener ducks out of the way.

Turn: {5-Spades}. Mizrachi checks, and a deliberate Duhamel cuts out a bet of 8.5 million and slides it forward. Mizrachi takes a long soak in the tank before uncapping his cards and sliding them into the muck. Camp Duhamel, which had been standing biting their lips, instantly burst into cheers.
