Kopp Gives One Up

From the cutoff seat, Billy Kopp raised to 525. Darren Elias called on the button, and the player in the big blind also called. The three players took a rainbow flop of {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and the big blind checked to Kopp. He fired 725, and Elias folded. The big blind made the call.

The {6-Clubs} fell on the turn, keeping the board rainbow. Both the big blind and Kopp checked to see the board pair on the river with the {K-Diamonds}. The big blind fired 1,250 into Kopp and won the hand as Kopp folded. Kopp dropped back to 6,500 in chips.

Reiman Folds River

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Ty Reiman fired 525 as the first three community cards laid {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades} in the middle of the felt. His lone opponent called, and the dealer revealed the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Both players checked.

The river card was the {3-Hearts}, and Reiman checked. His opponent bet 850, and Reiman tanked for a minute before folding. He was knocked back to 27,000 in chips but is still very healthy.

Medic Making Moves to Build His Stack

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

We came to the table on the turn with the board showing {8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Nenad Medic waiting for his opponent to make a bet after he checked. His opponent bet out 725, and Medic check-raised to 2725. His opponent called, and they saw a river card of {k-Diamonds}. Medic thought for a bit before putting together a bet of 4200. His opponent only took a few seconds before calling, then mucked when Medic showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a set of deuces. Medic is now up to around 27,000.

Raymer Rolls On

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer

Greg Raymer has just been moved into the Black section of the Pavillion Room, but before he arrived, the 2004 WSOP Main Event champion took another scalp.

An opponent moved all in before the flop with {A-}{7-} but was unable to improve against Raymer's {3-}{3-}. We can also tell you that both the Orange and Yellow sections have now been cleared out, so hopefully things get a little easier as the day progresses!
