Half and Half

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

George Lind has won a couple of small pots to pull the match essentially back to even, and we picked up this hand as he raised from the button. Viacheslav Zhukov called, and the flop brought {10-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}. Zhukov check-called, and he did the same when the {7-Clubs} turned on fourth street. The river came the {3-Hearts}, and Zhukov led out into the pot with a bet of his own. Lind quickly called.

Showdown
Lind: {A-Spades} {4-Clubs} {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}
Zhukov: {K-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {9-Spades} {3-Spades}

Zhukov's flush takes the high half, and Lind's live ace is good for the low. Chop it up.

The Pendulum Swings Back to Zhukov

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov raised on the button, George Lind called in the big blind, and the dealer fanned {7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Lind checked, Zhukov bet, and Lind check-raised. Zhukov called. The {q-Hearts} turned, Lind led out, and Zhukov put in a second bet (leaving just 325,000 behind). Lind tank-called.

The river was the {q-Diamonds}, and Lind checked. Zhukov moved all in for less than a big-bet, Lind snap-mucked, and just like that Zhukov is the chip leader again.

Lind Strikes

George Lind raised the button, and Viacheslav Zhukov came along to the flop.

The dealer spread out {5-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {10-Clubs}, and Zhukov knocked the table. Lind bet, Zhukov check-raised, and Lind called the additional 200,000 to see the {8-Hearts} turn. Lind called another bet, and the {7-Diamonds} came on fifth street. Zhukov checked this time, and Lind took his cue to make the big bet of 400,000. Zhukov wasted no time calling, and those were chips he'd not get back.

Lind turned over {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {3-Hearts}, and he takes the full pot. A ten-high straight, an eighty-six, and a big chip lead. Lind has about 4 million now to the 2.05 million of Zhukov.

Zhukov Quarters Lind

Viacheslav Zhukov raised with the button, George Lind called out of the big blind, and the flop came down {7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Lind check-raised Zhukov, and Zhukov called the second bet. The turn was the {q-Diamonds}, Lind led out, and Zhukov made the call.

The {2-Spades} on the river kept the low alive, and Lind led again. Zhukov made it two bets, and Lind called.

Zhukov: {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} - High and Low
Lind: {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Spades} - High

Zhukov took three-quarters of the pot, and has regained the chip lead.

Zhukov Finds Aces

Level 30 : 80,000/150,000, 0 ante

George Lind opened the button with a raise, and Viacheslav Zhukov three-bet. Lind called, and the flop came {Q-Spades} {10-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. Lind called a small bet there, a big bet on the {6-Spades} turn, and the {K-Diamonds} was the last card off the deck. Check-check.

Zhukov showed up {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {7-Clubs}, and it was good enough to drag it down.
