Duhamel Chipping Up

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante
Jonathan Duhamel
Jonathan Duhamel

2010 Main Event Champion Jonathan Duhamel is doing well in today's shootout so far.

With the board reading {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, the player in the cutoff bet 325 and Duhamel called. Both players opted to check when the {7-Hearts} came on the turn. The river brought the {4-Diamonds} and the cutoff checked to Duhamel who bet 550. The cutoff called but then mucked his hand when Duhamel revealed his {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} for trip tens.

After the hand Duhamel's stack grew to 8,000.

Candio is Heads Up...Kind of

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

Filippo Candio's table has been one of the fastest of the day so far, as they are now three handed. However, one of those stack has an empty seat and is being blinded out, meaning Candio and his other opponent are essentially playing heads up. At the moment, Candi is facing a 2-to-1 chip deficit. From the time it took us to get from Candio's table to our computers and back, that seat has been taken by none other then Nick Schulman. Should be an interesting three handed battle.

Bonomo Busted by Tehan

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

When we got to the table, the board read {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Justin Bonomo and Joe Tehan were heads up, and Tehan had put out a bet that covered virtually everyone at the table, and Bonomo had a decision for all his chips. Bonomo called, and Tehan flipped up {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for rivered trips. Bonomo showed {a-Spades}{3-Spades} and slide his chips over to Tehan, who has a nice sized chip lead at his table.
