So far, Simpsons creator Sam Simon has had no reason to go "Doh!" all day. He's been heads up with the chip lead for a while now.
Allen Cunningham was just eliminated after a protracted heads up battle. He was all in with
but lost out to his opponent's
on a

board.
Will "The Thrill" Failla is our next big winner. We missed the last hand of heads up play, but he told us that he and his opponent got it all in with Failla's
besting the
of the other player.
All the players remaining in round one of the shootout are back at their tables. The players who took their dinner break are now at level 7 (300/600/75) while the players who played through dinner are now at level 8 (400/800/100).
Level: 7
Blinds: 300/600
Ante: 75
The players who didn't take a dinner break are now on a 15-minute break.
David Benyamine started heads up play against Daniel Nicewander at a chip deficit and the two had a back and forth battle that just ended with Nicewander winning. We didn't catch the hand, but Nicewander told us that he had queens and Benyamine had sevens all in pre flop and held. Nicewander is guarenteed a shade under 5k after the win.
Of the tables remaining, the following are still heads up and playing through their dinner break:
David Benyamine
Erik Cajelais (a very long HU match this one)
Nam Le
Humberto Brenes
Matt Jarvis
Vitaly Lunkin
Matt Waxman was just eliminated after he went all in holding
against his opponent's
. The board ran out

and Waxman's day came to a end.
