The Bear Off to a Roaring Start

Hiren Patel raised from middle position and Barry Greenstein made it three bets as the next to act. Patel made the call and check-called Greenstein’s bet on the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Patel checked again and Greenstein bet when the {6-Clubs} hit the turn. Instead of just calling this time however, Patel threw in a check-raise. Greenstein made it three bets though and Patel just called. On the {2-Diamonds} river, Patel checked once more and Greenstein went all in. Patel made the call and Greenstein showed {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for top set. Patel mucked and Greenstein has doubled up early.
