Racener With The Double Up

John Racener raised from middle position and the big blind called. On the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, the big blind bet and the rest of Racener’s 5,500 in chips went into the middle as the players turned over their hands.

Racener: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {A-Clubs} turn and {10-Spades} river stayed clean for Racener as he doubled his short stack.

The {7-Clubs} turn and {8-Diamonds} river bricked out for Martin as Kravchenko doubled up as the players are nearing the money bubble.

Team PokerStars Pro (USA) Ramdin's Chips Skyrocket

Team PokerStars Pro (USA) Victor Ramdin has been on quite the heater as of late. Less than 90 minutes ago, Ramdin returned to our tournament after a lengthy hiatus playing the $1,500 Shootout event. When he busted there, he came back to his table here to a short stack of just 15,000. Since then, Ramdin has skyrocketed all the way up to 130,000.

Something tells us Ramdin is going to stick around for awhile.

Mizzi Messes Up

We were able to get to Table 362 just in time to watch the small blind Sorel Mizzi battle it out with a player in late position.

On a board of {A-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} Mizzi check raised his opponent. The dealer was given the green light to show the table the turn when Mizzi's opponent made the call. A {6-Clubs} on the turn was enough to get Mizzi to bet again, much to the same result, another call from his opponent.

After the {10-Hearts} fell on fifth street both players went through the same routine when Mizzi bet and his opponent simply called.

Both players showed an ace, but it was Mizzi's opponent's {A-} {8-} that was able to take the pot.

Shulman Doubles Through Kravchenko

Alexander Kravchenko raised in the cutoff and Jeff Shulman three-bet from the small blind. Kravchenko made the call and called Shulman’s bet on the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop. The action was the same on the {J-Clubs} turn which put Shulman all in.

Shulman: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Kravchenko: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Shulman would survive the hand regardless of the river although the players would chop the pot if an Ace or Jack hit. The river was the {2-Diamonds} though and Shulman secured the full double up which left Kravchenko crippled.

Marco Continues to Survive

After betting back and forth with Hiren Patel, Marco Traniello was all-in and behind preflop.

Marco Traniello {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Hiren Patel {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}

The cards fell {6-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}. Patel's whole cards were not enough to give the very scrappy Traniello the finishing blow he has been dodging for the past two levels.

Last Woman No Longer Standing

We caught up with the action on a {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop where Karen Manfredo led out from the small blind. The big blind raised and Manfredo answered with a three-bet. After another raise, she ended up all in with {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. The big blind held {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for an inferior pair but the {J-Spades} turn and {9-Spades} river gave him runner-runner straight and eliminated Manfredo.

It is Easy to Win When You Have the Better Cards

Dimitry Gromov continued to put pressure on the people at his table. This time he was betting into a player in late position after both players had witnessed a flop of {7-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}.

After Gromov's opponent called, both players got to see the {5-Spades} on the turn, where they agreed to check.

The river {6-Hearts} brought with it a possible flush and also a bet from the player in late position, Gromov called and showed {J-} {J-} for a pair of jacks. His opponent showed a losing pair {8-} {8-}, and Gromov scooped the pot.
