A player in early position raised to 1,200 and it was folded around to Kessler's big blind. Kessler made the call and we were off to a flop of

. Kessler check-called his opponent's bet of 1,800. The
came on the river and Kessler checked once again. This time his opponent fired out 3,600, and Kessler responded by moving in a large stack of 500 chips, raising a significant amount. His opponent looked disheartened as he mucked his cards and Kessler scooped up a sizable pot.
We caught up with the action just as Liv Boeree had bet a bit under 4,000 on the river with the board reading

. Her lone opponent reluctantly tossed in a call and Boeree showed
for the flopped nuts. Her opponent said, "I knew it," and tabled
for cracked rockets.
Boeree is now up to 19,000.
From middle position, Ali Eslami raised and Matt Hawrilenko called from the big blind. The flop came down

and both players checked to see the
land on the turn. Hawrilenko bet 1,500 and Eslami made the call.
The river was the
. Hawrilenko checked first and Eslami checked behind. Hawrilenko tabled the
for a pair of nines and Eslami mucked.

Steve O'Dwyer made a raise to 900 in late position and was called by Mike McDonald from the cutoff as well as the player on the button. The flop came

and the action checked around. When the
hit the turn the action checked around once again.
The river fell
and O'Dwyer and McDonald checked once again. The player on the button bet 1,700, causing O'Dwyer to muck. McDonald, however, made the call, but tossed his hand into the muck after the player flipped up
.
Losing this pot knocked McDonald down to 8,000.
