No More Thrills for Failla

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Will "The Thrill" Failla was short-stacked and under the gun when he moved all in for 1,400. Action folded around to the player in the big blind and he called. The hands were tabled and off to the showdown:

Failla: {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}

The board ran {5-Spades} {4-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {5-Clubs} and Failla was sent to the rail.

Bardah Busted

Facing a raise Ronnie Bardah moved all-in for his remaining stack. The player behind Bardah then moved in, and both players were called by the initial raiser.

Bardah {K-}{Q-}
Early Position Player {A-} {K-}
Late Position Player {A-}{Q-}

Bardah was in bad shape and needed some of Lady Luck's assistance. The cards came out {10-}{9-}{10-}{7-}{3-}, giving the player in early position the best hand with Ace-King high. Bardah along with the player in late position were eliminated.

Bansi Beaten

The action folded around to Praz Bansi who raised to 550 from the button; the player in the big blind was the only caller, but both the big blind and Bansi checked down the board of {Q-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

The big blind player showed {Q-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Bansi tossed his hand into the muck.

Min-Raise Bluff?

We were able to get John-Robert Bellande's table just as the dealer flipped the turn to reveal a board of {2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Bellande's opponent then fired out a bet of 2,000. Bellande tanked for awhile before he ultimately put out a min raise.

Bellande's opponent folded, much to the delight of Jean-Robert who claimed he had just min-raised bluffed the player.

Apparently Grinding is Easy

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Michael Mizrachi opened in late position for 550 and the player on the button raised to 1,350. The action folded back around to Mizrachi and he called.

The flop hit {2-Clubs} {10-Spades} {4-Clubs}, Mizrachi checked and the button bet 1,450. Mizrachi called and the turn fell the {7-Hearts}. Again, Mizrachi checked and the button bet 2,650. Mizrachi called and the river card was the {8-Spades}. Mizrachi checked a third time and the player on the button decided to check as well.

The hands were tabled and the button player held {Q-Clubs} {5-Clubs} for a busted flush draw and Mizrachi turned over {A-Spades} {10-Hearts} for top pair. Mizrachi won the sizable pot and has his stack near 70,000.
