Nick Schulman raised showing the and Men Nguyen, who had the bring in, made the call with the . Schulman picked up the and Nguyen got the . The latter said, "You check, I bet, you bet, I call," throwing out 8,000.
Schulman immediately made it 16,000, check-raising the verbally declared announcement and the rest of the money went in on fifth street. Schulman showed split queens which improve to two pair on sixth street leaving Nguyen's ace-high drawing dead.
It's only a small dent in Nguyen's stack and Schulman is still one of the shortest stacks remaining.
Hasan Habib was all in and ahead with a pair of 4s on fifth against Sorel Mizzi’s pair of 3s. Mizzi took the lead on seventh when he made two pair, 4s and 3s, so Habib would have to pair up to avoid eliminated. Unfortunately for him he bricked and was eliminated and the players are hand for hand.
Matt Glantz completed on third street. Nick Schulman raised and action folded around to Glantz, who promptly three-bet. Schulman called and again called a bet from Glantz on fourth street. The rest of Schulman's chips were in the pot on fifth street as he turned over for jacks up. Glantz turned over for a pair of kings, but failed to catch up to Schulman on sixth or seventh street.
Schulman is up to about 110,000, while Glantz slipped to roughly 160,000.
Tom McCormick was all in and at risk on third against Men Nguyen. McCormick lead with 5s until Nguyen made jacks on fifth. McCormick took the lead back with 10s up on sixth and Nguyen failed to improve as McCormick doubled up.
While we are playing hand for hand, Matt Glantz took a decent pot off Men Nguyen.

Glantz fired fourth and fifth and then again on sixth when Nguyen checked, after which last year's champion finally gave it up. Glantz showed him buried queens.
Tom McCormick was all in and ahead again on third against Men Nguyen. McCormick lead with 7's, but Nguyen made 8's on sixth. Nguyen flipped his last card first and it was of no help to him so McCormick would need to pair up to avoid elimination. Unfortunately for him, he bricked out and was eliminated as our bubble boy. We are now having a table redraw.
Matt Hawrilenko was all in and at risk on fifth against Chris Tryba. Tryba asked Hawrilenko if he had a pair and Hawrilenko responded with two pair which became a full house on sixth. This left Tryba drawing dead and Hawrilenko doubled up.
