Schulman: {x-}{x-} / {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Mercier: {x-}{x-} / {K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{4-Spades} FOLDED

Joining the action on fifth street, Mercier bet his pair of kings and Nick Schulman made the call. Mercier cautiously checked on sixth when Schulman's put him three to the flush, Schulman responded by betting and Mercier thought for a minute before deciding to fold.

Schulman turned over {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and said, "I had it..."

"You didn't get paid though..." replied Mercier

Seiver Sent to the Rail

Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Seiver: {X-}{X-} / {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} / {X-}
Nguyen: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} / {X-}

Thor Hansen completed, Scott Seiver raised, Men Nguyen re-raised, Hansen folded, Seiver four-bet and Nguyen called. On fourth, Seiver bet, Nguyen raised and Seiver called all in. Seiver was ahead with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for a pair of aces while Nguyen showed {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of queens. Things quickly changed on fifth where Nguyen hit a third queen and Seiver immediately left the table and headed towards the door. By the end, Nguyen had filled up with the {K-Spades} on seventh and Seiver who was already gone, was eliminated.

Nguyening

Tulchinskiy: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Nguyen: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Mikail Tulchinskiy was all in by third holding tens but Men Nguyen's queens were always in the lead and improved to two pair, Tulchinskiy couldn't hit a third ten and was knocked out as a result.

A Table of Chip Counts

Chau Down

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante

Giang: {x-}{x-} / {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} / {x-}
Mercier: {x-}{x-} / {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} / {x-}

Chau Giang had raised on third with Jason Mercier the only caller. Mercier took the lead on fourth when he made an open pair of nines but Giang raised the PokerStars Pro on fifth street only for Mercier to put in three bets. Giang called and then called another bet on sixth but when Mercier bet seventh as well, Giang tanked for a minute or two, eventually giving up the hand.

Dehkarghani Done

Matt Glantz
Matt Glantz

Glantz: {X-}{X-} / {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} / {X-}
Dehkarghani: {X-}{X-} / {5-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} / {X-}

Raymond Dehkarghani brought in, Matt Glantz completed and Dehkarghani called. Both players checked fourth and when Glantz paired up on fifth, he bet. Dehkarghani took quite a while before he made the call but on sixth after Glantz bet, Dehkarghani quickly called all in for his few last remaining chips. Glantz showed {3-Spades}[3d} for two pair, sevens and threes while Dehkarghani had {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and was behind with his pair of fives. Glantz’s last card, the {4-Hearts} didn’t improve him so Dehkarghani would need to make a higher two pair or trips to survive. Unfortunately for him, he squeezed the {3-Hearts} and was eliminated as Glantz increased his stack.

Aces Full Tang-alicious

Zolotow: {X-}{X-} / {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} / {X-}
Tang: {X-}{X-} / {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs} / {X-}

We caught up with the action on fourth where Kevin Tang check-called Steve Zolotow’s bet. On all of the next three streets, Tang bet and Zolotow called. Tang turned over {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for a full house, aces full of eights, and Zolotow obviously couldn’t produce the quads necessary to beat that as he mucked.

Hawrilenko Rising

Hawrilenko: {X-}{X-}/ {3-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}/{X-}
Wahlbeck: {X-}{X-}/{J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{A-Clubs}/{X-}

We picked up the action on fifth street where both players went three bets to sixth street. Wahlbeck bet sixth and seventh, getting called by Hawrilenko who showed {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for trips. Wahlbeck couldn't beat it, giving the pot to Hawrilenko.
