Kostritsyn Raises Seiver Out

Kostritsyn: {X-}{X-}/{Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{A-Spades}/{X-}
Seiver: {X-}{X-}/{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}/{X-}

After Scott Seiver was the bring in with the {3-Spades}, he called Alex Kostritsyn's completion. Kostritsyn's bet on fourth street was called by Seiver, as well.

When Seiver took the on-board lead on fifth street, he bet fifth, sixth, and seventh. To Seiver's dismay, Kostritsyn raised on seventh street. After a few moments the 2011 WPT Champion gave it up, further boosting Kostritsyn's stack.

Chainsaw Still Buzzing

Kessler: {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} / {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Gonzalez: {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} / {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

We caught up with the action on fourth where Fabrizio Gonzalez check-called Allen Kessler’s bet. Kessler paired on fifth and bet as the first to act and Gonzalez called. Both players checked sixth and Kessler check-called on seventh but not before he said “this would be a pretty sick beat...again” and then said “I got the ace-high flush”. Gonzalez attempted to muck but Kessler wanted to see what Gonzalez had as he had called him. Gonzalez showed two pair, Kessler did indeed show his flush and Gonzalez mucked while Kessler won the pot.
