Mizrachi Eliminated Straight to Limit Championship

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Ryan Olisar was UTG and raised to 450 and action folded around to Michael Mizrachi in the small blind. Mizrachi called and Lars Bonding in the big blind made 1,550 to go. Olisar called and MIzrachi shoved for 12,000.

"i gotta go play the $10k limit tournament," Mizrachi said.

Bonding folded and Olisar called, tabling pocket tens. Mizrachi turned over {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} and the board ran {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}. Mizrachi was out of his seat as the dealer peeled the turn card and already taking his seat in the Limit Hold'em Championship while Olisar was stacking his chips.

No Back-To-Back For ElkY

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier has just been eliminated from the tournament after an unlucky turn card fell while he was all in.

On the flop of {6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds} ElkY bet out for 625, was re-raised to 2,000 by a player in late position, and then moved all in for around 7,500 total and got a call.

ElkY had {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for top pair, top kicker leaving his caller with {j-Clubs}{k-Clubs} drawing only to a king

The turn however was the {k-Diamonds} and ElkY hit the rail just three hours after he was awarded his first WSOP bracelet. He won't go back to back, but I doubt he can complain after yesterday's win.

Mizrachi Building His Chip Stack

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Michael Mizrachi is slowly building his chip stack up. We caught him in a hand when he called a 525 raise from a player in middle position. The flop ran out {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The {5-Clubs} fell on the turn and Mizrachi led out with a 750 bet. His opponent folded. Mizrachi now sits with a little above 9,000 in chips.
