Seiver Doubles

Catching the action with the board reading {J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} we found Frank Kassela leading out for 1,100 only to have Scott Seiver move the action up to 6,200. The third player in the hand potted, as Kassela folded before Seiver committed his final few thousand.

Seiver: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Opponent: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}

With Seiver in great shape to double, the river landed the {2-Clubs} to see Seiver double to 19,000 as Kassela announced he folded {5-}{4-}.

Baldwin Busts Rodman

Blair Rodman
Blair Rodman

After a flop of {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Blair Rodman and Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin ended up all in.

Rodman: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Baldwin: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Rodman's set of aces would have to hold off the straight and flush draws that Baldwin's hand contained. The {2-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but the {7-Spades} on the river completed Baldwin's straight and sent Rodman to the rail.

Baldwin now has around 13,000.

Updated Chip Counts

Selbst's Stack Sinks

Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante

We missed the betting action but Vanessa Selbst and another player got all the chips in after a flop of {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}.

Selbst: {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Selbst would need some help to catch up to her opponent. The turn was the {7-Hearts} giving Selbst two pair and the lead, but the {6-Clubs} on the river gave her opponent a better two pair.

Selbst now has around 3,000 left in her stack.

Lamb Chops Up His Opponent

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

After the flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, Ben Lamb bet 5,000 and another player went all in. Lamb called and their hands were revealed.

Lamb: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

The other players aces were leading until the {j-Hearts} came on the turn giving Lamb a straight. The {6-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing and Lamb's stack soared to around 40,000.
