Tens Against Tens, Flush Wins

Hold'em

Three players saw a capped round preflop as the flop of {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} saw each player commit 1,000. The turn and the river of the {6-Diamonds} and {8-Diamonds} was checked through to see Roland Isra table his {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Mickey Appleman tabled his {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}, but with Isra's diamond-ten making a flush, Isra scooped the pot to move to 41,000 in chips.

Shchemelev Takes This One

Omaha-8

Robert Mizrachi raised from early position and Vladimir Shchemelev called from middle position. Daniel Alaei called in the cutoff seat and Tim Finne made the call from the big blind. All four of them saw the flop come down {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Finne checked. Mizrachi bet, Shchemelev called, Alaei called and Finne folded.

Three players were in on the turn, which added the {K-Clubs} to the board. With the board now paired with cowboys, Mizrachi bet. Shchemelev raised and Alaei folded. Mizrachi also gave it up and Shchemelev won the pot without even seeing a river.

Violette Vanquished

Stud-8

Cyndy Violette has just been eliminated from the tournament.

Her opponent's board read {K-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} while Violette's read {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} before she began the epic-sweat to reveal seventh street.

Violette attempted to squeeze out a card to save her on the river, but when she could only find the {2-Diamonds}, Violette was forced to head to the rail.

Mizrachi Scoops

Level 8

Omaha-8

Michael Mizrachi opened with a button raise and found a caller in the big blind to see a {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs} flop fall. Mizrachi's continuation-bet was check-called as the {2-Clubs} landed on the turn and Mizrachi fired out again. His opponent made the call before leading the {9-Clubs} on the river.

Mizrachi raised and his opponent made the call only to muck at the sight of Mizrachi's {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} as he scooped the pot to move to 46,000 in chips.

Young Air-Ball Victory

Level 7

Hold'em

Jason Young just bellowed at our PokerNews field reporter to detail a hand.

It was capped preflop with three players seeing a {K-}{9-}{4-} flop as one-bet was put in the middle from each of the players. The {A-} was checked through on the turn before the {3-} landed on the river.

Young led out with a bet on the river, and after one fold, the third player flashed his {Q-}{Q-} and mucked.

Young tabled his {Q-}{10-} for the second-nut no-hand and raked the pot to move to 36,000 in chips.

Barber Loses Ground

Hold'em

Andrew Barber was once our big stack, but he's dropped all the way back to the starting stack of 30,000. On this hand, Barber was in action with one opponent on the {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop. Barber was in position and bet after his opponent checked. The player made the call.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {8-Diamonds} fall on the river. Action checked to Barber again and he bet. His opponent put in a cheaky check-raise and Barber called.

The player showed the {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} for trip sevens and that beat Barber's {Q-}{8-}.
