Stud-8
Frankie O'Dell, Fabrizio Gonzales, and John Juanda tangled in a huge Stud-8 pot. O'Dell caught a five on seventh to round out his wheel. That was enough to scoop and send Gonzales packing. Juanda was left with 12,000 after the hand while O'Dell raked in enough to build to 310,000.

He check-called again on sixth, and checked one more time after the last cards were dealt. This time when Zaichenko bet, Fricke check-raised him. Zaichenko paid to see Fricke's

The Tournament Director has just broken another table to leave us with five tables containing slightly less then forty players.
One of those players that was unable to make the final five tables was multi-bracelet winner John Juanda who was unable to gather momentum after being crippled in a hand down to one big bet just several orbits ago.
