Perry Lin Eliminated in 6th Place ($91,010)

Perry Lin - 6th Place ($91,010)
Perry Lin - 6th Place ($91,010)

Perry Lin has just been given the ol' 1-2 KO by Randolph Lanosga to depart WSOP Event #35 in fifth place.

Earlier, Lanosga raised to 90,000 from middle position before Lin re-raised to 240,000 from the button. All the others got out of the way, but Lin four-bet it, making it 540,000 to go. Lanosga called, so it was heads-up to the flop of {5-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

Lanosga led out for 300,000 and Lin went into the tank for almost three minutes before announcing he was all-in. Lanosga snap-called, showing down {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} but reeled after Lin showed down {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} for two pair. The {9-Hearts} on the turn reduced his outs, but incredibly, the {Q-Diamonds} spiked on the river to give him the set!

Down to just 475,000, Lin open-shoved in the very next hand with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, but Lanosga woke up with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}. The board ran out {2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Lin was eliminated.
