Final Level of Play

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Originally planned as a three-day event, due to the overwhelming numbers, it has been decided that Event #4 will become a four-day event.

So instead of playing down to a final table like the original plan was, play will follow the newly implemented ten-level maximum rule with play stopping at the conclusion of this level.

Modi Busts

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

From the cutoff, Nicholas Blumenthal entered the pot with a raise to 8,000 only to have Sachin Modi move all in for 75,000. Blumenthal made the call to put Modi at risk.

Blumenthal: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Modi: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The final board would be spread {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} to see Modi's run in today's tournament end as Blumenthal moves to 280,000 in chips.

Gianetti Exits

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

From the cutoff, Matt Giannetti moved in his last 45,000 and JC Tran made the call from the button.

Gianetti: {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Tran: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

With Gianetti needing to spike to stay alive, the {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board would end his tournament run as Tran climbs up to 450,000 in chips.

Gonsalves Rivers Straight to Double

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Markus Gonsalves has just found a double through Jason Potter after all the money went in preflop.

Gonsalves: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Potter: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

It would take a full sweat of five cards before Gonsalves received his fate as the {7-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} board ensure his straight being the best hand as he doubled to 395,000 while leaving Potter on just 80,000 in chips.

Dolan: {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Little: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The board would be spread {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} to see Dolan hit the rail as Little climbs to 640,000 in chips.

Yaginuma Fades River, Todd Eliminated

JC Tran raised to 18,000 from under-the-gun and was met with a re-raise all-in for 54,000 from Don Todd in middle position. Unexpectedly, Jesse Yaginuma shoved his own stack in from the big blind for a bit less than 90,000. Tran quickly mucked his cards and the hands were revealed.

Yaginuma: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Todd: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

Todd found little help from the {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, but the {9-Hearts} turn gave him a fighting chance. However, the river blanked a {5-Diamonds} and Todd was forced to the rail.
