Iaconfano Picks Up Small Pot

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

A player in the under the gun position raised to 2,200. Kevin Iacofano called from the small blind and the player in the big blind called.

The flop ran out {10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and all players checked. The {k-Hearts} hit on the turn and Iacofano checked. The player in the big blind bet 3,300. Action folded around to Iacofano and he made the call. The river brought the {a-Clubs} and Iacofano led out with 4,800. His opponent made the call.

Iacofano flipped over {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and his opponent folded his cards into the muck.

Rousso Doubles; Then Busts

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Vanessa Rousso
Vanessa Rousso

In the first hand, a short-stacked Vanessa Rousso went all-in for her last 6,500 from the small and was called by David Ulliott in the big.

Rousso: {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Ulliott: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}

The board came {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, giving Rousso a runner-runner full-house to stay alive.

However, a few hands later, Justin Young opened from early position and Rousso shipped her stack from late position. The blinds folded and Young called.

Young: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Rousso: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

This time the board wasn't so nice for Rousso, as it came {7-Spades}{J-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, eliminating Rousso and chipping Young (who has been on a tear since beginning day 2) up to 93,000.

Moorman Eliminated

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Chris Moorman put himself at risk preflop holding {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} against Robert Fett who held {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

The flop ran out {4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Spades} to give Moorman a pair of aces to take the lead. The {j-Spades} hit on the turn and the {2-Spades} hit on the river to give Fett a flush and send Moorman home.

Fett now sits with around 45,000 in chips.

Dao Squeezes Out Some Chips

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Faraz Jaka opened to 2,300 from the cutoff and Dan Martin re-raised to 6,500 from the button. Miller Dao thought for a bit from the small, but then slid all of his chips into the middle for about 45,000 total. Jaka snap folded but Martin fell into the tank.

"Sorry guys, this is sick," Martin said, agonizing over his decision.

Martin eventually mucked, chipping Dao up to 55,000.

Tens Fail Freddy

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Samad Rashid opened with a raise to 2,500 from the cutoff seat, and a short-stacked Freddy Deeb reraised all in from the button for his last 10,000 or so. The blinds got out, and Rashid quickly called.

Rashid {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Deeb {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Deeb leaned forward to see the board come {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, giving Rashid a flush. Deeb stood, wished everyone luck, and headed toward the rail. Rashid now sits with about 68,000.
