Men Misses, Mosseri Doubles

Abe Mosseri and Men "The Master" Nguyen took a flop of {4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}, and Nguyen bet out 7,100. Mosseri immediately shoved his stack worth about 32,000, and Nguyen made the call, making for a pretty big pot.

Nguyen: {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}
Mosseri: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Both players had flush draws, but Mosseri's was better. He had a pair of aces to go with it, and Nguyen would need to hit his straight or two pair to get the knockout. The turn and river came {7-Clubs} and {4-Hearts}, and Mosseri took the pot to double up.

Chip Counts at Break

Chow TIme

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

We are 4 levels in, and the players are on their shortened 30-minute dinner break. Cards will be back in the air around 9:50.

Dwan Soars into Lead

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante
Tom Dwan = Current Chip Leader!
Tom Dwan = Current Chip Leader!

We unfortunately missed exactly how the action went down, however, there was a four-way all-in showdown involving Tom Dwan on a {2-}{5-}{6-}{a-}{3-} board and three players' hands were revealed.

Dwan: {A-}{K-}{K-}{J-}
Early Position Player: {8-}{7-}{K-}{K-}
Small Blind Player: {Q-}{10-}{A-}{J-}

Dwan scooped the enormous pot and is now up to 90,000 after being down to just 8,000 a little while ago.

Laak Gets Some Back

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

On a flop reading {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Phil Laak check-called a 1,050 bet from his lone opponent. Both players checked when a {J-Hearts} fell on the turn. A {5-Spades} came on the river and Laak led out for 1,650. His opponent decided to show a {6-Clubs} from his hand and mucked.

Laak is sitting with 20,000.

Elezra On Right Side Of Cooler

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

We didn't catch the action, but we walked by Eli Elezra's table and saw a rather large pot being shipped his way. The board read {j-}{5-}{k-}{a-}{k-}, and while Elezra's opponent had {a-}{k-} in her hand, Elezra had {a-}{a-} for a better full house. That hand boosted Elezra stack up to 70,000, which is the early lead by our counts.

Mercier Loses Some Chips

Dan Kelly raised under the gun to 775, and Kevin Schaffel called. Jason Mercier raised to 2,700, and action folded around to the small blind, who reraised to 8,600. Kelly and Schaffel folded, and Mercier thought for about 20 seconds before sliding in the call. The flop came out {5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, and the small blind instantly shoved his last 12,000 in. Mercier thought for about 10 seconds before chucking his cards into the muck, dropping him down to 5,200 with one of his add on chips left.

Men "The Master" Movin' Up

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

A player in the hi-jack opened for 500 and Men "The Master" Nguyen flatted from the button. The small folded but the big blind player three-bet to 2,100. The original raiser folded but Nguyen threw in a call.

Both players checked the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} as well as the {A-Clubs} turn. However, when the {10-Diamonds} completed the board, the big blind player checked and Nguyen quickly tossed in a 2,000 bet. The big blind thought for a bit but eventually mucked.

Nguyen is up to 66,000.
