On the flop of {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Jen Kyllonen checked to Ben Lamb. Lamb bet an unknown amount before Kyllonen check-raised to 20,000. Lamb made the call. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Kyllonen bet 43,000. Lamb called. The river was the {4-Clubs} and Kyllonen bet 72,000. Lamb raised all in and Kyllonen folded.

Lamb showed the {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs} from his hand and mucked the other card. Kyllonen dropped to 97,000 while Lamb grew to 510,000.

Prepare yourself for some mental gymnastics. PLO is a gambler's game, and if you've ever wondered why it's called four-card bingo, this ought to explain it.

The hand started like any other. Dario Alioto opened to 5,200. Emil "whitelime" Patel called from middle position, and Aaron Schaff called from the hijack. David Ewing in the cutoff only had 29,800 and tried to go all in. But Patel pointed out that he could only raise to 29,000, so he took back his 800, laughing about how it was going to change everything. Then the small blind, EPT Grand Final winner Ivan Freitez, cold called, and things started to get interesting. Alioto called as well, putting the action to Patel. He surprised everyone by repotting, putting himself all in for around 140,000. Oh boy.

Schaff called all in for about 105,000 . Ewing tossed in his last 800. And all eyes were on Freitez, who had everyone but Alioto covered. After a minute of thought, Freitez moved all in as well. It was 158,400 for Alioto to call. With four people all in in front of him, he could only shrug and make the call.

By this point, half of the players left in the tournament were crowding around the table and everyone was shouting at the dealer about how best to pull in the chips and separate the side pots. Five minutes in, the dealer was still counting stacks. The players couldn't wait any longer for showdown and started flashing their cards to each other. Somehow, no one had aces. With the floor calling for calm and the crowd closing in on the table, it was finally time for showdown and a board.

Ewing: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} - covered by everyone (5.84% to win main pot)*
Schaff: {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} - covered by everyone but Ewing (22.01% to win main pot)*
Patel: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} - covered by Freitez and Alioto (27.47% to win main pot)*
Freitez: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} - covered by Alioto (21.42% to win main pot)*
Alioto: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades} - (19.7% to win main pot)*

At long last, the flop came {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Schaff was the only one with a spade draw, and Freitez hit two pair. The {4-Spades} on the turn gave Schaff a flush and Freitez a set of fours. He could scoop the whole thing if he hit a boat. The river was a total blank - the {2-Diamonds}. Schaff took the main pot and the smaller side pot, eliminating Ewing. Freitez took the rest, knocking out Patel. Alioto started shouting at the floor about needing to pay off an extra 20,000 to Freitez that wasn't in the pot. Finally the floor quieted him, the dust settled, and the chips were restacked.

Results:

David Ewing - eliminated
Emil Patel - eliminated
Aaron Schaff - 348,000
Ivan Freitez - 227,000
Dario Alioto - 351,000

Devilfish came over from the next table to add his two cents. "There's a cash game later, guys, and you're all invited."

Cousineau Lays Down

On the last hand of the last level, five players saw the flop of {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} in a limped pot. Phil Laak was first and checked to Tom Dwan. He checked and then David Ulliott checked. Sam Stein checked as well and then Tony Cousineau bet 8,000, which was the size of the pot. Laak raised the pot to 32,000 and Dwan folded. Ulliott folded and then Stein followed him into the muck. Cousineau tanked for a minute, but finally folded the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} face up.

Negreanu Up in Flames

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

We missed the hand, but Daniel Negreanu is gone, and all we have left of him is this tweet:

"wow. 400k pot heads up. KKQ3 vs AJ55. Flop KT7 two hearts. Bet pot he raises I reraise pot.Turn Q. River 3. I'm out. Pretty sick."

With Negreanu's chips now in front of him, Roger Teska is up to 460,000 and a chip-lead contender.

Medic Doubles

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

On the {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Nenad Medic found himself all in with the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} against the {A-}{K-}{3-}{2-} for his opponent. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and although it gave Medic's opponent a straight, it filled up Medic. The river completed the board with the {J-Spades}.

Medic doubled and moved to 49,000 in chips.

Devil of a Table

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

With some recent relocations, one table at the back of the room is both extra entertaining and extra tough. It has David Benefield, Devilfish, Sam Stein, Tony Cousineau, Phil Laak, and Tom Dwan. David "Devilfish" Ulliott open-limped in the hijack, and Sam Stein made it 5,200 from the cutoff. It folded back to Devilfish, who called while muttering to himself.

Flop: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} - Devilfish check-called 7,300.

Turn: {10-Clubs} - Ulliott instantly checked, and Stein took a moment before following suit.

River: {q-Clubs} - The third club on the board prompted a bet of 7,300 from Ulliott. Stein thought about it and slowly made the call. "You're good," Devilfish conceded, and Stein won the pot with {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for Broadway. He's up to 180,000 while Ulliott is down to 85,000.

"Never take on someone when they're in form," Devilfish told the table. "Take them on when they're out of form."

"So you're saying I'm in form?" Stein asked.

"You just won a f$%king bracelet! Of course you are," responded Devilfish. Tom Dwan perked up at that and wanted to know what he won. Stein answered that it was the $3k PLO, but Dwan was mostly interested in how much he won, not what event.
