Tom Dwan
Tom Dwan

Dwan raised and was all in for 60,000 even. The big blind folded the {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Laak called.

Laak: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Dwan: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The board ran through {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Dwan was able to double up.

Mosseri Straightens Out Raymin

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

A player in the cutoff opened for 6,500, and Abe Mosseri quickly announced his intention to raise the maximum. He made it 24,000 on the button, and from the big blind, Zarion Raymin moved all in. After the cutoff folded, it was up to Mosseri to call for around another 55,000. He acknowledged that Raymin had the best hand for sure, but he had to call.

Raymin: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Mosseri: {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Raymin called for big cards, but the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop didn't quite listen. Raymin was still ahead after the {q-Diamonds} turn, but the {5-Spades} river gave Mosseri a seven-high straight. Raymin threw his cards down in frustration but was enough of a gentleman to compose himself and shake hands with Mosseri before he left. Mosseri is up to 225,000.

Selbst Doubles Right After Break

Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

Vanessa Selbst and Ben Lamb wasted little time in playing a big one after the break. On the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} board, the two got all the money in. It was Lamb that put Selbst all in, only to have her snap call with the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for tens full of eights. Lamb held the {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for trip eights. The river completed the board with the {7-Spades}.

Selbst was all in for 132,500 on the turn and is now up to 325,000. Lamb dropped below that to 310,000.

Matusow Doubles Through Mosseri

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Abe Mosseri raised from middle position to 5,500. Action folded over to Mike Matusow on the button and he reraised all in for 16,200. Play folded through the blinds and back to Mosseri. He called to put Matusow at risk.

Matusow held the all-red {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Mosseri the all-black {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. The flop, turn and river ran out {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to finish Matusow with a flush and double him up.
