Dwan Wins First Hand, Then is Crippled

On the first hand of play at Table 283, Greg Dyer was heads up with Tom Dwan on fourth street. Dyer had {2-}{3-} in front of him, and Dwan had {7-}{3-}. Dyer bet, and Dwan called. Dyer bricked on fifth with a {q-}, Dwan picked up an {a-}, and Dyer check-folded.

"Let's try this again," Dwan said going into the next hand.

Justin "Boosted J" Smith (who had literally just sat down) brought in with a {10-}, Dyer completed with a {7-}, and Dwan called with a {4-}. Smith folded.

Dyer: (X)(X) / {7-}{k-}{10-}{9-} / (X)
Dwan: (X)(X) / {4-}{9-}{j-}{8-} / (X)

Dyer check-called bets from Dwan on every street, and after seventh Dwan announced, "Nine-eight-seven."

Dyer opened up {2-}{4-}{5-} for a nine-seven-five though, winning him the pot and crippling Dwan.
