We reached the table on fifth street, where four bets got in, putting Seidel all in. Holling bet into the side pot on sixth, Funkhouser called, and the two checked on seventh.

"Nine-six," Holling announced.

Seidel remained silent, then tabled {2-} {2-} {4-} for a nine-five. He scooped the pot, tripling to nearly 30,000 chips.

Habib paired his {5-} on sixth while Paulson also hit a {5-} to give him a seven low. Habib’s {K-} on sixth had him drawing dead as Paulson doubled up but was still short while Habib’s stack got a bit shorter himself.

George Lewis completed with an {a-} , Owais Ahmed called with a {3-} , and the two went heads up to sixth street.

Phil Laak was calling the action as it happened, doing his best Lon McCarren impersonation. Ahmed bet when Lewis bricked on fourth, and Lewis called. Lewis returned the favor on fifth when Ahmed caught a queen, and Ahmed called. Lewis paired on sixth though, and when Ahmed bet he quickly folded.

"I was on the edge of my seat there," George Lind said with regards to Laak's commentating.

"Owais has technqiue!" Laak blurted.

We caught up with the action on fifth where Miguel Proulx checked to Thomas Bihl who bet. The action was on Mikhaeil Smirnov next who raised and Proulx folded. Bihl came along and said “Oh, come on” when he made trips on sixth where both players checked. On seventh, both players checked again and Bihl showed {3-} {6-} {K-} for a king-low. Smirnov turned over {J-} {2-} {7-} for a jack-low which was good to win the pot as Bihl nodded his head in frustration.
