Rail Hits Bolotin

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Alex Bolotin entered the Day as chip leader but he could only take that momentum so far. With less than hour left on Day 2, he was already getting short stack and was forced to make his stand with {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Brandon Becker was sitting to his left and called his all in for 95,000 with {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Bolotin's road will end here. Becker, on the other hand, has chipped up to 590,000 with that pot.

Timoshenko Takes Out Loh

Yevgeniy Timoshenko opened for 17,000 from the cutoff and action folded around to Paul Loh in the big blind, who called.

The flop came {10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Loh announced he was all-in for his last 150,000. Timoshenko called.

Timoshenko: {K-}{Q-}
Loh: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

"Awww I always pick the worse times!" Loh said upon seeing the bad news.

The {8-Hearts} turn and {K-Spades} river did not improve Loh and he was sent to the rail.

Timoshenko has chipped up to 320,000.

Little Busto

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Jonathan Little
Jonathan Little

We didn't catch the hand, but Jonathan Little has been knocked out of the tournament. In addition, we are down to our last five tables, as 45 players are left.

Another One Bites the Dust

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Yuji Masaki raised to 18,000 from middle position and Alex Queen three-bet him to 47,000. It folded back to Masaki who moved all in and Queen wasted little time making the call.

Masaki: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Queen: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop was {9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}. At this point Masaki was standing up and mumbling to himself, presumably urging the board to stay clean. However, the turn was the {a-Spades} and he went from mumbling to shouting a loud "No!". The river {4-Spades} was no help. After the count, they figured out that Queen had him covered, resulting in Masaki goning busto and Queen sitting with a 740,000-chip stack.

Duck Doubles Through Timoshenko

Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Teresa Duck battled in a hand earlier in the day that saw Duck double up through Timoshenko. Well their table broke, and while they were at separate tables for a while, they have been reunited now, and they just got involved in another big pot. Timoshenko raised to 17,000, and Dmitry Vitkind called in the small blind. Duck was in the big blind, and she moved all in for 88,000. Timoshenko tanked for about a minute before making the call, and Vitkind got out of the way. The cards were flipped, and Duck was in a dominating position.

Duck: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Timoshenko: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The flop gave Timoshenko some hope, as it came {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The turn gave Timoshenko alittle more hope, coming the {a-Clubs}, giving him outs for a chop. However, the river came the {2-Clubs}, and Duck won the hand, while Timoshenko dipped below the tournament average.
