Welcome back to Day 2 of Event 48: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em. Yesterday we saw an impressive 2,713 entrants come out to the Rio to compete for WSOP glory, which created a first-place prize worth a cool $650,223. Of the 370 players returning today, only 270 entrants lucky - and skilled - enough to survive today's bubble will claim a piece of the prize-pool pie.

Big names returning to the field today include Chino Rheem, Garry Gates, Lauren Kling, David Singer, JJ Liu, Josh Tieman, Matt Stout, Soi Nguyen, Sorel Mizzi and Yevgeniy Timoshenko. All of these players will be chasing current chip-leader Alex Bolotin - who ended Day 1 with 129,800 (approximately four times the average starting stack going into Day 2). Close behind Bolotin is Sebastian Winkler, who managed to bag up 123,800 and two-time WPT Champion Jonathan Little, who will be entering Day 2 with 120,300.

Be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews as we continue to provide you with the action, which is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. PDT.
