According to Eli Elezra, Mike Matusow will shave his head if he bubbles the tournament. We are down to 31 and only 30 pay, so if Mike "The Mouth" does indeed bubble it, Eli will have a shaved head buddy around the Rio for the rest of the WSOP (Elezra had to shave his head after losing a last longer on Day 1 of the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. to Matusow earlier in the WSOP)

Hamlett Doubles

With only 800 in chips Thomas Hamlett moved all in on the last hand before break. He found a caller in Jason Mercier.

Hamlett took two cards while his opponent Mercier took three.

Hamlett then took one card while Mercier took two.

On the last draw both players took one card.

Mercier showed {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and then squeezed out a {A-}. Hamlett tabled {8-}{6-}{5-}{2-} and needed to avoid pairing up with his last cards in order to stay alive, he did just that with a {J-}. Players will have to wait 20 minutes now before they can find a bubble

Bellande Crippled, Busted

Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

We just saw a huge pot between Greg Raymer, Jean-Robert Bellande, and Nicholas Verkaik where a mistaken raise by Verkaik ended up taking down the pot. Only a few hands later after being crippled, Bellande was busted and has fallen short of the money in yet another tournament.

Pre-draw, Raymer raised, the Verkaik on the button called, Bellande re-raised, Raymer called, and then Verkaik started cutting out his chips and trying to figure out a call amount but put enough in for a raise. The floor was called over and it was ruled a raise. Bellande decided to raise one last time and he capped it with both players calling.

Raymer and Verkaik each drew two while Bellande chose to draw one. Bellande led out with a bet and both players called. Bellande and Verkaik each drew one on the second round while Raymer drew two. Bellande bet, Raymer called, Verkaik raised, and both Bellande and Raymer called.

One the third draw, Bellande and Raymer each drew one and Verkaik stood pat. All three players checked and Verkaik showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} to take down the pot.

Raymer fell to 48,000 and Bellande fell to 11,000 after the hand.

While we missed the action, we do know that Bellande busted out only a few hands later. He said from his Twitter account, "Oooo 37k in the pot... Im all-in but My pat 8 is looking good. Only have to fade this last draw from Greg Raymer..." Clearly he didn't fade that last draw from Raymer and he has hit the rail.

Jimmy Fricke Eliminated

Jimmy Fricke
Jimmy Fricke

A severly short stacked Jimmy Fricke moved all in and managed to get called from the cut off player as well as the player on the button.

With the cut off and the button taking two cards, we saw Fricke take three. Both other non all in players then checked. Fricke took two cards as did the cut off, and the button took one. Both other players still involved in the pot then checked again.

All players took one card this time, and the cut off player apparently realized he could bet and did just that. The button folded and it was time to show cards. The cut off flipped over {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} while a solemn looking Fricke said that he couldn't beat the eight low.

PearlJammer On Life Support

Jon Turner just lost a big hand that put him from top 10 in chips to bust out danger zone.

Turner raised it up pre-draw and was called by a player in the big blind. Both Turner and his opponent drew two on the first draw. The big blind bet, Turner called, and drew two again to the big blind's one. Again the big blind bet and Turner called. Turner only drew one on the final draw but the big blind stood pat. Both players checked it and the big blind showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} to take down the pot.

Turner is down to just 5,000 after the pot and needs some serious help if he wants to last to Level 15 let alone the money.

200 More?

Jeffrey Lisandro
Jeffrey Lisandro

We caught up to find Lisandro putting all his chips in except two on a bet before the third draw. His opponent in the big blind made the call. Lisandro stood pat, while his opponent opted to take one card.

Lisandro then put in his last 200 and his opponent folded. David Sklansky then interjected and said "show the straight". Lisandro claimed he didn't even know what his fifth card was. He said he knew he had {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-} but he didn't know what his last card was. Lisandro said "it was probably an eight" so no worries, he probably would have won the hand anyways.

Eli Loses A Big One

Eli Elezra and his opponent on the button capped it preflop before each drawing one. Elezra checked, the button bet, Elezra check-raised and the button called.

Elezra stood pat and the button drew one on the second round. This time, Elezra bet out and was called by the button. Both players stood pat and checked the last round of betting and Elezra showed {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} The button player hit his draw though and had Elezra beaten with a {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}

No Hall Pass for Mercier

Action moved to Jason Mercier in the cutoff seat and he raised. Galen Hall reraised from the button and play folded back over to Mercier before he made the call. Mercier drew two and Hall took one. Mercier checked, Hall bet and Mercier called.

On the second draw, Mercier took two and Hall stood pat. Mercier check-called again.

For the final draw, Mercier took one and Hall stood pat. Both players checked and Hall's {10-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} won him the pot. Mercier mucked his hand.
