Tehan Free Falling
Joe Tehan has fallen to 16,000 after losing this last hand.
Tehan raised it up under the gun and was called by a player in the big blind. Tehan drew two and the big blind player drew three. The BB checked to Tehan who bet and the BB called.
Tehan drew two on the second draw and the BB just drew one. Tehan checked, the BB bet, Tehan check-raised, the BB re-raised and Tehan called. Both players stood pat on the last round and Tehan checked to the BB who bet. Tehan called and said he had a pair of twos. The BB showed 
and took down the pot. Tehan has been above average all day but is pretty short after losing that big hand.

A player from under the gun raised and it was David Chiu on the button and Chau Giang in the big blind who made the call. Giang took three, the under the gun player took one, and Chiu took two. Giang checked and the under the gun player bet, and Chiu raised. Giang smooth called, as did the other player.
Giang this time opted to only take two cards while the other two players took one. It was then that all players checked.
The third drawing session lead to each player taking one card. Giang then two bet and both other players folded.

"Jason Mericer Loses First Pot Of Day"
As this reporter was walking back to his desk to continue bringing you up to the minute action from Event #49: $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit), we were stopped by Jared Bleznick who said, "Hey PokerNews... look at that." Bleznick was pointing to the all too familiar sight of Jason Mercier building castles with his chip stack for what seems like the 1000th time at this years WSOP. Bleznick said, "You need to write up a post titled Jason Mercier Loses First Pot Of The Day After Doubling A Guy With Only 3 Big Bets Left." While we did condense the title a bit, we used the idea and Mercier is up to 105,000 even after doubling up Galen Hall last hand.
Hall was all in and stood pat after his first draw and once Mercier pushed a third player out of the pot after the second draw he showed 
with one to go against the pat of Hall. Mercier drew a 
and told Hall he was good. Hall is up to 25,000 after the double-up and Mercier's monster stack is still up over 100,000 and he is our new chip leader at the moment

No Longer Hanging Around
Scott Seiver started the hand out with a bet preflop, and was only capable of convincing Tommy Hang to come along for the ride. Both players opted to take two cards, and it was Seiver who then bet. Hang made the call.
This time Seiver took just one card while Hang took two again. Seiver bet and Hang called putting himself all in. Both players then stood pat, and Seiver flipped over 
for a seven low. This was enough to win the pot as Hang sent his last hand into the muck.

Husband And Wife Going Deep
You may know Julie Schneider best as the wife of 2007 WSOP Player Of The Year Tom Schneider. She was a mainstay on her husband's rail during all his deep runs in that WSOP. Well, she has become quite the poker player herself and is still in it deep in the $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball (Limit). She has three WSOP cashes including a third-place finish in this event at the 2009 WSOP. Both she and husband Tom are still in it here as we approach the money.
In this particular hand we came in when the players were on their first draw. Schneider drew one while David Chiu and another player both drew two. The small blind player checked, Schneider bet and both Chiu and the small blind called. Schneider stood pat on the second draw while Chiu and the small blind both drew two again.
The small blind checked, Schneider bet, Chiu raised, the small blind folded, and Schneider called. Both Chiu and Schneider stood pat on the third draw and Schneider checked to Chiu who bet. Schneider made the call and showed and Chiu mucked saying he had an "86"
Schneider is up to 31,000 and Chiu has fallen down to 32,000

Fricke Back Up Top
Jimmy Fricke started the day as our chip leader with 69,000, but then he fell down below 50,000, and now he is up to nearly 90,000 and is our chip leader again (it's almost like 2-7 Triple Draw is a swingy game or something...) In this last hand, Fricke lost a small one to Jeff Lisandro but is near the top of our counts
Fricke raised it up in the small blind, Lisandro re-raised from the big blind and Fricke called. Fricke drew two and Lisandro drew one on the first draw and Fricke checked to Lisandro who bet. Fricke called and both players drew one on the second draw. It went check check and each player drew one again on the third draw. Fricke bet out and Lisandro called him.
Fricke had made a straight with and Lisandro's 
was good enough to take down the pot.
Fricke is at 88,000 and is our chip leader right now even after moving Lisandro above average to 45,000.

Schneider Getting It Back
2007 WSOP Player of the Year Tom Schneider was up over 40,000 at one point but has fallen back down quite a bit. After this hand however he is working back towards an average stack.
Eli Elezra limped on the button, a player in the small blind raised, Schneider re-raised in the big blind, Elezra called, the small blind re-raised again and both Schneider and Elezra called.
Elezra drew three while Schneider and the small blind both drew one. All three players checked the first round, the small blind stood pat, Elezra drew two, and Schneider drew one again. The small blind bet out, Schneider called and Elezra folded.
Both the small blind and Schneider stood pat on the third draw. The small blind bet and Schneider called showing an for the win and to get himself back up to 33,000

Three Handed Action
This hand started out raise from Dario Alioto, a call from the cut off, a call from Greg Raymer, and then a raise from the big blind. All players involved made the call and were allowed to draw. Raymer in the small blind took two cards, the big blind stood pat, Alioto took one, and the cut off took two.
After Raymer checked, the big blind then bet and received a call from all players. Raymer then took one card, the big blind stood pat, Alioto took one, and the cut off took two again. Raymer checked, and the big blind bet. This time only Raymer and Alioto called with the cut off player giving up and folding.
Raymer took one card, the big blind stoically stood pat, and Alioto took one as well. This time after Raymer checked the big blind did as well, as did Alioto. The big blind then showed which was enough to win the pot as Raymer and Alioto mucked their cards.
