Negreanu Needs Chips Quickly

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

We haven't caught many of his hands, but Daniel Negreanu, who was one of the chip leaders just over an hour ago, is now sitting on just 1150, or just under four big bets left. Its safe to say that "Kid Poker" will be doubled up or out within the next few minutes.

Madsen Gets Straightened Out

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Madsen: (x)(x) / {4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} / (x)
Opponent: (x)(x) / {k-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} / (x)

We caught the action on fifth street with Jeff Madsen calling a bet from his opponent. Madsen bet out on sixth street only to be raised by his opponent. Madsen called, then called once again on the river. His opponent flipped up {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for broadway, and Madsen mucked, dropping him to 3,500.

Seiver Back Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Opponent 1 - (x) (x) / {7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / (x) (x)
Opponent 2 - (x) (x) / {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts} (Folds)
Opponent 3 - (x) (x) / {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} / (x) (x)

We caught the action on fourth street, where Seiver bet when checked too, and was called by all three opponents. On fifth street the same action ensued, but in sixth street Seiver only received two calls. All three players checked on the river, and Seiver rolled over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} for two pair; eights and threes. His opponents mucked, and he's now up to 8,200 chips.

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Schneider: (x)(x) / {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} / (x)

Opponent 2:(x)(x) / {10-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs} FOLDED

Tom Schneider bet the whole way until seventh street when he and his one opponent checked. Schnieder revealed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a pair of aces and his opponent slid his cards into the muck. The "Donkey Bomber" is now sitting at 7,200.

Billirakis Short

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Steve Billirakis - (x) (x) / {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} / (x)
Opponent - (x) (x) / {6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} / (x)

We caught up with the action on fourth street where Billirakis led out and his opponent called. On fifth Billirakis led again, but this time his opponent raised. Billirakis called. Billirakis' opponent led on sixth after being dealt an ace, and Billirakis called.

On seventh street Billirakis was faced with another bet, but chose not to call. His opponent flashed {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to our reporter for trip aces, and pulled in the pot. Billirakis was left with only 950 chips and busted soon after.

Kid Poker Shoots Up the Leaderboard

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Negreanu: (x)(x) / {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} / (x)
Opponent: (x)(x) / {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} / (x)

Daniel Negreanu may have joined the tournament two hours late, but he is already making his presence felt, as he has nearly doubled his starting stack in under an hour. Negreanu got a good portion of those chips on this hand, where he called bets on fourth and fifth street. When Negreanu paired up on sixth street, he bet, only to get raised by his opponent. Both players checked the river, and Negreanu showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-} for two pair, while his opponent showed {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for aces and a missed flush and straight draw. Negreanu now has 8900.
