Papola Allows a Triple but Still Gains Chips

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Second to act, Robert Tepper raised all in for 15,900. Next to act, Bulent Uzun made the call as did Jeffrey Papola to the left of him. The rest of the table folded and Tepper was at risk with a chance to triple up.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Action was checked to the river when Papola bet 21,000. Uzun made the call and Papola tabled {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a straight which was good for the side pot. Tepper, however, made a boat with {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and tripled up to 50,000. Papola sits with 135,000 while Uzun has 110,000.
