Arieh Gambles

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Josh Arieh raised from early position to 5,200 before Victor Ilyukhin reraised from the small blind to 16,200. Arieh made the call and the flop was {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Ilyukhin moved all in for 64,500 and immediately Arieh stood up and said "There is a real good chance I'm going to gamble with you here." Indeed he did.

Arieh made the call with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} leaving himself 37,500 behind. Ilyukhin had {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and was ahead in the hand. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river was the {4-Diamonds}. With that double up, he reaches the 170,000-chip mark as we enter the dinner break.
