Baron Binks A Double Near The Bubble

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We missed the preflop action, but Isaac Baron and his opponent Jannick Wrang got into a huge pot after the flop came out {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Eventually, Baron got all of his 140,000 in there, and saw that he was in great shape to ship a huge double up.

Baron: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Wrang: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Baron has Wrang outkicked, and would need to dodge a king and king only to win the pot. The turn came the {2-Clubs}, and the river brought the {10-Clubs}, and Baron won the pot to boost his stack to an impressive 280,000.

Just a few hands later, Baron claimed the rest of Wrangs stack. Wrang didn't have much left, and all of it went in preflop, with Baron being the only caller.

Baron: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Wrang: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Baron hit the flop again, this time coming {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. The turn came the {6-Hearts}, and the river came the {a-Diamonds}. Wrang was sent to the rail, and Baron boosted his stack to 340,000.
